Worried about a Recession? You’re not alone but the key question is, what is your plan for a recession, what you are going to do and when are you going to do it?

In the United States, the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) is generally seen as the authority for identifying and dating US recessions. The NBER defines an economic recession as “a significant decline in economic activity spread across the economy, lasting more than a few months, normally visible in real GDP, real income, employment, industrial production, and wholesale/retail sales.” Almost universally, academics, economists, policy makers, and businesses refer to NBER for the precise dating of a recession’s beginning and end.

Would it surprise you to know that the average recession lasts 11.1 months (since 1945). Doesn’t seem like a long time but everybody who has been through a recession knows that although a recession is short, it sure does a lot of damage. In less than a year, your account can often lose 30-40% of its value. And since the average bull market is 58.4 months, those without a plan wind up in a scenario where your account doesn’t recover for several years, if not longer.

So, what are you to do? Do you go to cash and wait it out? You can, but you are likely to miss out on several opportunities to increase your returns on your money. Or do you attempt to time the market and get out before everybody else does? Sounds good in theory but we think you’ll find that the timing just never seems to work out in your favor.

What do we think? Financial security IS one of the main sources of anxiety in life. People dream of having piece of mind, knowing they can meet their needs, and supply some comforts for themselves without worrying about a sudden recession or financial demand. When you are educated on how to build your financial health and security, the fear of uncertainty will not govern you, and the turbulent economy will not fluster you.

We have developed our own system to have you invest with confidence. We can build your plan for a recession.  Imagine investing with a strategic plan and a calculated approach that puts your mind at ease. Hey there would you mind sharing which blog platform you’re
working with? I’m looking to start my own blog soon but I’m having a tough time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal.
The reason I ask is because your layout seems different
then most blogs and I’m looking for something completely
unique. P.S Sorry for being off-topic but I had
    to ask!
